Default Monk/Necromancer

Ok,

So i want to make a Monk/necromancer and i wonder how strong this combo could become.
As in is it viable nowdays?

I only have Factions and im making this for the quests and to do some Pvm. I might get the other Gw's later but not yet.

And how to build it?
Thats all.

Second profession doesn't really make much difference at an early stage. Once you get through a couple of missions you will have the option of changing your second profession anyway.

Choose whatever combo you want. When you progress through the game you will find out what works and what doesn't and be able to access all the second professions.

Mo/N has almost no real advantage to itself, unless you could N/Mo or just bring a minion skill. Elementalist is much better for earlier stages, as it allows you to use Glyph of Lesser Energy, which is nice E-management. Until they're level 20 Monks are seriously pushed for energy skills, so I'd say this is your safest bet.

You aren't picking two professions, you're picking a Primary and a Secondary. Ask yourself: what advantages or skills does the Necromancer have that would help me be a better Monk? The answer is pretty much nothing.

I have always had an idea for an offensive Mo/N build in mind with the condition Insignia and necro's ability to spread conditions around by inflicting conditions on himself. But you may not have the necessary skills with just Factions.

This.

Of course you could think outside the box and use stuff like Enfeebling Blood and blood ritual but that would make you a pretty bad monk. But you can get away with anything in PvE so long as you're not with some elitist farming group.
